Kate Sandoval McCabe
Kate Sandoval McCabe is the owner and founder of Sacred Heart Sonora. She is a psychedelic medicine guide and therapist specializing in Toad Medicine, Psilocybin and MDMA ceremonies. Kate is currently obtaining a MA in Counseling and provides intake and integration services for clients. Kate founded the Phoenix Psychedelic Society in 2018 to spread awareness of the power of living medicines. Kate is an advocate of Sonoran Desert Toad Conservation and the ethical collection of medicine. She has spent the last three summers promoting conservation efforts at our bufo sanctuary in Sonora. Kate is also committed to providing harm reduction services to opioid addicts in the city of Phoenix, Arizona, and is currently making a documentary about fentanyl, ibogaine, and 5-MeO-DMT. Kate has appeared in documentaries by VICE, Channel 4, and Strg_f. |
Dr. Gerardo Sandoval Isaac, OB/GYN
Dr. Gerardo Sandoval Isaac, "Dr. Gerry", is the true pioneer of Toad Medicine and a licensed OB/GYN surgeon practicing in Mexico. He has worked with sacred medicines for over twenty years and specializes in Toad Medicine, Kambo, Peyote, Psilocybin, and Yopo Ceremonies. Dr. Sandoval has traveled the world sharing sacred medicines with others, including Mike Tyson, celebrities, and U.S. politicians. He is passionate about environmental issues surrounding the toad. He believes plant medicines need to be used responsibly and stands firmly behind the ethical sourcing of sacred toad medicine. In 2018, he purchased a piece of land in Sonora to ethically harvest Toad Medicine. He has written numerous books on toad medicine, including The God Molecule and The Bufo Medicine Codex. Dr. Sandoval has appeared in documentaries on VICE, Channel 4, and Strg_f, and in Mike Tyson's Hot Boxin' Podcast. |
Dr. Benji, MDA
Dr. Benji is an anesthesiologist who lives and works in Bacalar, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Benji has worked with sacred medicines for over 10 years and specializes in Toad Medicine Ceremonies. He is a practitioner of plant medicine and an advocate of holistic health. When Benji is not working at the hospital, he is enjoying the Caribbean lifestyle with his friends and animals. |
Meni Metsa
Meni Metsa Rodriguez is a Shipibo Shaman in Yarnicocha, Pucallpa, Peru. Meni Metsa began his training with ayahuasca and medicinal plants when he was a child and was trained by his grandfather in the community of San Rafael. Meni Metsa is a skilled shaman who offers traditional Shipibo Ayhuasca ceremonies, plant dietas, and apprenticeships. He deeply cares for his family and community and works to support them. He loves to share his medicine, knowledge of plants, and teach about Shipibo cosmology. |
